Failed breaks: waiting for the second chance
2 April 2026 · StoneCore Desk
Many traders enter the moment price ticks beyond a resistance line. Our coaching sessions slow that impulse.
A failed break often shows as a push beyond the level that cannot hold, followed by a return into the prior range. The useful information arrives on the reclaim — not on the first print outside.
Mapping implication
Keep the resistance on the chart until acceptance is clear. If the reclaim happens, the level may strengthen as a short-side reference. If acceptance sticks, retire or flip it with a written note.
We practice this live with recent Bangkok-session examples so the idea is not abstract theory.
